AVRO® screen filterS

AVRO® screen filters are the first line of defence for mains cold water services, rainwater reuse systems and process equipment. Suspended solids — sand, silt, scale and pipe corrosion products — are what erode tapware, pit copper, jam valve seats and block aerators, cartridges and spray nozzles. AVRO® takes them out at the point of entry, so everything downstream sees clean water. The screen is cleaned in place rather than thrown away, so protection continues for the life of the installation with no cartridge to buy and no filter element to change.

Available from DN25 through to DN80, with DN50 arriving shortly.

Efficient backwash cleaning

The screen is flushed clean in place, not replaced. Solids are lifted off the mesh and carried straight to drain, so the filter returns to clean rather than slowly blinding — and there is no consumable to reorder.

 

Manual or automatic operation

Every model runs either way. Set an automatic flushing interval to suit your water quality and forget about it, or flush manually when it suits you — the manual path stays available regardless.

 

Transparent viewing bowl

The clear bowl makes the screen and the backwash visible. You can see how fast solids are building up, confirm a flush has actually worked, and tune the interval to the water rather than guessing at it.

 

Compact design

A short run between inlet and outlet means the filter drops into existing pipework without reconfiguring it. Installation is quick and disruption to the building is minimal.

 

Built to last 

Corrosion-resistant materials throughout — high-grade brass heads and impact-resistant bowls on the smaller units, cast steel bodies on the industrial sizes. Designed to stay in service as long term.
